Malinga Productions is an upcoming social enterprise based in Southern Africa. Our current activities are service-based, focussing on community, music and video production.

We are committed to nourishing creativity for the purposes of upliftment, empowerment and education. Our hope is to connect personal growth and fulfillment with community growth and fulfillment, especially in our home village in rural Zimbabwe. This connection is being realised through various forms of community outreach, skills-training and community participation in different projects.

'Malinga' is a Kalanga word denoting a bracelet that carries spiritual guidance from one generation to the next. It is also related to 'Malinda', the experience of seeing  'visions of the morning' that offer guidance to the community.

At Malinga Productions, we want to do something positive and home-based in a time too often dominated by stress, negativity and low morale; and in a place where opportunities for education and income-generation are few.  We are looking to learn from the guidance of others and to realise positive Malinda.
